Two 18-Hole Golf Courses Still Open At Page Belcher, Mohawk Park Golf Courses
Two 18-hole golf courses remain open at Page Belcher and Mohawk
Park and tee time reservations are being taken, while work
continues on replacing the grass on the greens at two other
courses.
Work began in early August renovating the greens on the Olde
Page course at Page Belcher and the Woodbine course at Mohawk Park
, replacing the existing bentgrass turf with a bermuda grass better
suited to Oklahoma's summer climate.
But the Stone Creek course at Page Belcher and the Pecan Valley
course are still open and available for play.

City Offices Closed for Labor Day
City Hall and other city offices will be closed on Monday,
September 6, for Labor Day. Public safety and mission critical
operations, however, will operate as normal. Residents who need
assistance with a water or sewer problem may call the City's
24-hour emergency number, 596-9488.
Recycling customers for whom Monday is a
scheduled pick-up day should put their recyclables for pick-up at
the curb on Saturday, Sept. 4. Notices have been
mailed to customers who are affected by this change.

The City of Tulsa has recently been recognized for our website
by The Sunshine Review - a public-interest website. The Sunshine
Review "grades" municipalities on ten online factors: Budget,
Meeting Agendas, Elected Officials, Administrative Officials,
Permits & Zoning, Audits, Contracts, Lobbying information,
Public Records and Local Taxes. In 2009, the City had a grade of
"C", but has now earned a top grade of A+. The Tulsa review is
available online and an editorial by the Tulsa World is
also available online.
